Pickup from accommodations in Cusco is scheduled for early morning. Transportation proceeds to Mollepata for breakfast followed by a continuation to Challacancha. The morning involves a hike to Soraypampa and the Sky Camp. Lunch is provided at the camp. An afternoon hike to Humantay Lake at 4200 meters (13780 feet) above sea level is scheduled. The return to Soraypampa includes dinner and stargazing.
The initial part of the hike from Challacancha to Soraypampa follows an Inca canal. Upon arrival at Sky Camp lunch is served. Time is allocated for rest before the Humantay Lake hike. The ascent to the lake involves a gradual climb. Time at the lake is provided for viewing and photography. The return to Sky Camp includes dinner and an astronomy session. Overnight stay at Sky Dome Camp.
Early morning breakfast precedes a hike to the Salkantay Pass via the Trail of the 7 Snakes. Time is allocated at the pass for views. The descent to Soraypampa includes lunch at Sky Camp. Following lunch a short walk to the transport is scheduled. Return transportation to Cusco is provided.
